Our Warranty Policy

 

Warranty Duration 

1-year factory warranty on all Southern Tactical products (Excluding surplus and non-Southern Tactical manufactured products).  The warranty date begins when the product is purchased, after checkout is completed.  Any products purchased from Southern Tactical that exceed the 1-year coverage are not eligible for Warranty Coverage, and therefore, do not qualify for warranty repairs or replacement.

 

What does the Warranty cover?

Warranty covers any defect in any parts, materials, or craftsmanship that causes the product to not function properly.  During the warranty period, Southern Tactical will repair or replace, at no charge*, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material, parts or craftsmanship; under normal use and maintenance.

*This includes the cost of shipping

 

What the Warranty doesn't cover

This warranty doesn't cover any issue that is caused by: Damage due to normal wear and tear, improper use or maintenance, accidents or negligence, damage caused in the process of shipment and un-authorized modifications to the product. 

There is no warranty on Used or Military Surplus firearms not manufactured by Southern Tactical. 

Southern Tactical neither warranties nor guarantee’s any USED weapon or military surplus firearm purchased that isn’t manufactured by Southern Tactical, due to age, durability and other variables.  These classifications of firearms are safety checked and function tested only!

 

Limitation of Liability

In the event of a product failure or malfunction, Southern Tactical is not liable for any losses or damages that may occur.  These include personal injuries, property damage due to accidents or negligence, financial losses and/or damage during shipment.

 

Claiming Warranty Service

Any request for a warranty claim must be done in writing via email so we can document the time and date of the request.  No warranty claim can be made via phone or voice mail.  Please send us your warranty claim so we may assist, email: This email address is being protected from spambots. If the firearm qualifies for warranty inspection, then we will provide a pre-paid shipping label to have the firearm shipped back to us.  Upon receiving the returned firearm, we will fully examine and inspect the firearm to determine if it qualifies for a warranty repair or replacement.

If the warranty claim is approved, you will be notified and Southern Tactical will make the necessary repairs or send a replacement.  This process usually takes 5 to 10 business days to complete but could take longer, by which time the buyer would be notified if there’s any delay.

If your product doesn't meet the Southern Tactical Warranty Policy, then we'll determine the most appropriate solution for you.

You may not repair an item covered under warranty and ask Southern Tactical to cover unauthorized repairs.

Any warranty return items must be in the exact condition in which it was shipped to you or your dealer; this includes boxes and accessories.  Warranty returns must first be authorized by Southern Tactical, and any warranty item sent back without the below mentioned, will be denied.

Any firearm warranty return must be double boxed and must include a photocopy of the front and rear of your driver’s license, as well as your receipt of purchase.  

Any warranty item that is sent back without a photocopy of the front and back of your driver’s license and receipt of purchase, will be delayed in processing.
